3784 Red Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric Welding Blanket Roll

This silicone coated fiberglass fabric is made of 3784 glass fiber cloth as the base cloth, and then evenly coated with fireproof silicone rubber coating and red paint and other complex on both sides of the fiberglass fabric. This silicone fabric is a red silicone fiberglass cloth, which is very popular in the market. It provides greater abrasion puncture and tear resistance and water repellency and greater life and low smoke and flame retardancy to our base fiberglass fabric. This silicone coated fiberglass fabric also provides greater chemical resistance, easily sewn, cut and fabricate, and oil repellency than uncoated fabrics.

This silicone coated fiberglass cloth can be applied to medium duty welding applications, can protect work areas from sparks, slag and spatter with this welding blanket. It is designed to provide thermal protection from temperatures up to 1022°F / 550°C. When choosing fiberglass cloth as the material for welding blankets, it is recommended to choose coated fiberglass cloth, because the surface and four sides of the uncoated fiberglass cloth will have hairiness, which will cause irritation and allergies to the workers’ skin. The coated glass fiber cloth can reduce these problems.
