This silicon rubber coated fiberglass fabric is a S.S wire reinforced glass fabric coated with a specially formulated silicone rubber which provides good properties of fire resistance, flexibility, durability, waterproofing, oilproofing, good chemical resistance as well as other properties for the manufacturer of welding, fire curtains, high temperature removable jackets, valve covers, exhaust pipe heat shield, and other types of fire control systems. Using insulating coating fiberglass fabric to make fire curtain can provide a thermal barrier and hold back flames.

The majority of fire curtain fabrics are coated fibreglass fabrics. The glass fibre filaments, wound together as a thread or yarn then woven in different weave patterns to give a variety of heat resistance and strengths. A basic fiberglass fabric can withstand temperatures up to 550°C. Our stainless steel wire reinforced silicone coated fiberglass fabric can increase the temperature resistance up to 750°C.
